When can I retire from IPERS?

Answer a few quick questions to see the earliest date you could take your full IPERS pension, with no early-retirement reduction.

Use quarters: .25, .5 or .75 (for example, 17.75). Each full school year counts as 1. A rough number is fine.
Enter it in quarters, exactly as shown (for example, 17.75). Find it on your annual IPERS statement or in My Account at ipers.org.
An older statement works too. We add the service you have earned since, assuming you have worked full-time every school year since then.

This is an educational estimate, not an official IPERS determination. It assumes you are a Regular IPERS member, you work (or worked) full-time in IPERS-covered employment each school year until you stop, your school year ends in June, and you have no purchased, missing or part-time service. It does not calculate your benefit amount. Confirm your eligibility with IPERS before making any retirement decision. Nothing you enter here is saved or sent anywhere.
